Adelin Verly

(Brussels 1883-1967)

The Belgian artist Adelin Verly mainly painted landscapes, genre scenes, village and city views, interiors, still lifes and flowers. Adelin Verly exhibited in Brussels in 1939 at the Salon du Deux Décembre of the National Association of Painters and Sculptors of Belgium. Verly was a very good painter. The velvety touch in his flower still lifes makes the viewer dream away and with his strong compositions Verly managed to conquer many art collectors.
